Adopt a Freshman

We are currently looking for three undergrad students to volunteer to adopt freshmen for the 2022-23 academic year. If you are interested in mentoring incoming freshmen from Greater Cincinnati and making a difference in their first-year experience, please email us at bamacincinnati@gmail.com.Send us photo and short bio and we'll get back to you. We ask that volunteers be present to our Bama Bound Freshman Send-off (sometime in June). Students above adopted freshmen from Greater Cincinnati during the fall term of 2021. Some of these seniors will move on in 2022.

The Adopt a Freshman program is a unique initiative to help incoming students from Greater Cincinnati, Dayton and Northern Kentucky get acclimated to campus life. Six mentors from Greater Cincinnati with a variety of majors and goals in life adopt freshmen during the fall term of each academic year. If you are a parent of an incoming freshman, please have your new student select someone to adopt them. It pays off in the long run.
