As the 2024-25 academic year starts at UA, we know the impact so many of our UA students from home make on campus. We have leaders that excel academically and athletically. UA senior Graham Nicholson is no exception. This graduate of Summit Country Day transferred to UA from Miami (Ohio).
He played at Miami for three years and last year was awarded the Lou Groza award, given to the nation's top place kicker. He was named a consensus All-American and set an NCAA record for the most consecutive field goals in a season without a miss. He entered the portal and transferred to Alabama in May. He and his family are lifelong Bama fans and are members of CrimsonAti. They will be attending our tailgate on GameDay.
Elijah is a graduate of Huber Heights Wayne and is a playmaker at tight end. He's a consensus four-star prospect who is equally adept at making plays in the passing game while being a proven run blocker. Look for No. 85 on the field.
He chose Alabama over offers from Virginia Tech, West Virginia and Wisconsin.
No. 8 is a redshirt 4-star junior from La Salle High School. He was recruited by Ohio State but he flipped to Bama. He spent the first part of the 2023 season rehabbing from injury. Those CrimsonAti members that attended the UK game in Lexington last year saw him in action on the field.
