Meet Our Bama Bound Freshmen!



Over 40 freshmen and their parents met at Fueled Collective for the 2023 Send-Off on July 23, 2023. Can you imagine the excitement of going to The University of Alabama in August?

UA Admissions, led by Kelly Watson, our Recruiter for central/Southern Ohio and northern/central Kentucky, collaborated with CrimsonAti officers and volunteers, to provide a fun-filled afternoon for freshmen and their parents. Current students (some attended to Adopt a Freshman), alumni, and other volunteers attended. Around 100 attended this event.


Fueled Collective is a great venue for events!

This is the second floor ballroom at Fueled Collective.

These freshmen will be majoring in engineering, arts & sciences, business, communications, human environmental sciences, nursing and education, with engineering and arts & sciences leading the way. Most of these freshmen have scholarships, including 11 National Merit Finalists and 7 National Recognition Scholars.

The following high schools are represented by these freshmen:


Cincinnati: Anderson, Fairfield, Lakota West, Roger Bacon, Schilling, St. Xavier, Hamilton Badin, Turpin, Ursuline, Mason and Wyoming.

Columbus: Bishop Watterson, Dubin Scioto, Harvest Prep, Hillard Bradley and Olentangy Berlin.

Dayton: Chaminade-Julienne, Edgewood, Miamisburg and Springboro.

Indiana: Fremont

NKY: Conner, Ryle, Notre Dame, Cooper and Villa Madonna.

Lexington: Henry Clay and Homeschooled.

Louisville: Trinity.


President Eddie Bogdanowicz loves to give away door prizes! These two door prizes below were prepared by Angela Andsager, CrimsonAti's secretary. That's Paul Pridemore on the left (parent door prize) and Joshua McKnight from Oletangy Berlin (student door prize). Congratulations to both!


Other door prize winners (gift certificates from Ajian Sushi, Chic-Fil-A, and other businesses that support CrimsonAti. Congrats to all!





Two CrimsonAti Scholarship recipients were present to receive their award certificates from President Eddie Bogdanowicz.


Alaina Henger is the recipient of the Greater Cincinnati Endowed Scholarship.

Ellie Rudolph is the recipient of the John Blazic Scholarship, established in memory of John.

Each freshman introduced themselves and their parents. Lots of networking took place and several students were present to Adopt a Freshman. Here are a few of those attending:
