Lots of heart stopping action at the game as the Crimson Tide eked out a win over the South Carolina Gamecocks. We were setting up at 7:00 a.m. and thought we heard a rooster crowing. Was that a bad omen?
We had tailgaters from all over the Greater Cincinnati area. Let's start with Beavercreek.
Now let's see who came not from the West Side but even farther west.
It was a beautiful sunny day. We were surprised that almost 200 showed up at the early tailgate and around 50 or more came after the game. The couch potatoes were in full force as lots of big games were played on GameDay. Here are a few photos of a few attendees:
As the morning went on, the crowd started coming.
The early tailgaters got the goetta and egg burritos, deviled eggs, and quiche. We also had warm orange rolls and sticky buns from Edgar's with hot coffee. Sara brought her chicken nuggets and we had plenty to eat and drink.
More tailgaters showed up:
Our tailgate was popular after the game too. It was the place to show up for a cold drink and to watch the afternoon games on TV. Here are a few more tailgaters. See anyone you know?
We wish to once again thank our sponsor Waltman-Fleming Real Estate. Jim Waltman is formerly from Indian Hill and now lives in Tuscaloosa. They are familiar with the area and can assist our members, especially parents, in finding the right place at the right time.
