Tailgate - Texas

If you plan to attend our Texas tailgate, please RSVP so we can determine how much food/drink to provide.  We are asking everyone to bring food and drink as we anticipate a big crowd.  We will be featuring Urban Artifact and Sons of Toil along with other beers from Greater Cincinnati.  If you are driving down for the game or flying in on our charter flight, please bring beer from home.  It will be a HOT day.  We will have plenty of bottled water on ice.  Yellow hammers will be provided for anyone 21 and older after noon. We plan to have an open bar and bartender (tips are appreciated).  The bar will open around noon.  Ajian Sushi will cater in the afternoon.  Here's the menu from Joe's Italian: [cheesy garlic foccacia bread; full mini meatballs; sausage links; full bruschetta; Mama's full stuffed mushrooms; chicken fettuccini].  Peach cobbler and red velvet banana pudding will be served around 4pm by the Peach Cobbler Factory of Tuscalooosa.  Walt Griess is our guest chef and he will be making his famous Boston butt.  We will be selling Squares for our Big Board back home ($20 for five squares).  This is a great time to renew or join. You can do that ahead of time here: https://joinorrenewnow.eventbrite.com.  We will have applications at the tent.  If anyone is coming down from the Newtown area, we like to put taffy candy from Doscher's on the tables.  It's a nice snack at the game.  University Blvd. will close at 2:30 p.m., so if you need to drop off anything you can temporarily park on Elm Dr. until 2:30 p.m.  Our tailgate is in the middle of it all!  We'll see you then and thank you for supporting CrimsonAti.
