Scholarships
CrimsonAti currently awards 4 fully endowed scholarships and a grant supported by Alabama branded OH license plates. You can contribute to any scholarship directly through UA or via CrimsonAti. You can also support our scholarships by getting or renewing Alabama branded plates in Ohio.

The Greater Cincinnati Endowed Scholarship
The Greater Cincinnati Endowed Scholarship was established in 2014. This scholarship was the first endowed by the chapter and is a proud monument to our region and the efforts of beginning our chapter.
First priority is given to entering freshmen graduating from a high school located within a fifty mile radius of Greater Cincinnati. Second priority of consideration is given to entering freshmen graduating from any other high School in Ohio.

The Cusick Family Endowed Scholarship
The Cusick Family Endowed Scholarship was established in 2020 by Dr. Brian and Jamie Cusick.
Priority consideration is given to entering freshmen graduating from a high school in the Greater Cincinnati area.

Margaret and Scott Rodrigue Endowed Scholarship
The Margaret and Scott Rodrigue Endowed Scholarship was established in 2023. Margaret (Exby) Rodrigue and Scott Rodrigue are 1985 graduates of The University of Alabama School of Engineering. They both are originally from Huntsville and now live in Cincinnati. They have four daughters, two of whom are University of Alabama Engineering graduates.

The Dunehew Family Endowed Scholarship
Rebecca (Workman) and Matthew Dunehew, together with their sons Declan (UA BSME ’22) and Aidan (Dayton BSME ’25) are excited to deepen relationships between Greater Cincinnati/Dayton/northern Kentucky families and the University of Alabama through this STEM based renewable scholarship, which became fully endowed in October 2024.

Cincinnati Ohio Chapter License Plate Grant
Starting in 2023, Alabama branded plates became available in the state of Ohio. The sale (and renewal) of these plates goes directly into a fund that is awarded every year to students in Ohio.
