A beautiful day for watching football We had an unofficial watch party for the Mississippi State game. It was a sunny warm day at The Well in Covington, Ky. Isaac Baumgarte is a Lakota East graduate and National Merit Scholar. He will be attending The University of Alabama this fall, majoring in Applied Mathematics with a focus on Statistics. Isaac is a Randall Research Scholar and hopes to work in statistical research. He is an avid chess player, enjoys trail running, and is a talented advanced pianist. He's looking forward to serving the Tuscaloosa community through Honors Action and getting involved with Honors Connections.

The Aidan Robert Moncelle Memorial Endowed Scholarship was established in 2025 by the Moncelle Family to honor their son and brother by recognizing sibling loss and helping students reach for the stars. Aidan was a senior at UA, majoring in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering, with a Blount Scholars minor.
