Freshman Profile: Isaac Baumgarte

Isaac Baumgarte is a Lakota East graduate and National Merit Scholar. He will be attending The University of Alabama this fall, majoring in Applied Mathematics with a focus on Statistics. Isaac is a Randall Research Scholar and hopes to work in statistical research.

He is an avid chess player, enjoys trail running, and is a talented advanced pianist. He's looking forward to serving the Tuscaloosa community through Honors Action and getting involved with Honors Connections. His parents are Mr. and Mrs. Randy Baumgarte and Janet Bockey. He recently attended the CrimsonAti Reception for UA President Peter J. Mohler and gymnastics coach Ashley Johnston. He's looking forward to CrimsonAti's upcoming Bama Bound Freshman Send-Off July 28th.
