Hi CrimsonAti,
I'd first like to thank all of you for allowing me to represent the greater Cincinnati, Dayton, northern Kentucky, and southeast Indiana area as chapter president for the previous two years. It has been an honor and a privilege to serve such a great organization and to meet so many of you. I would be remiss if I didn't thank all of the wonderful board members I've served with the past two years; they are truly amazing people. Many of whom have been part of the chapter since the beginning, combined with others who will continue to be its foundation for the future. I'd also like to thank the National Alumni Association for their continued support of our chapter. While many may not be aware, the support we receive from NAA is absolutely necessary to what we do every year, and we are extremely thankful for them.
Additionally, I'd like to take this moment to endorse the new candidate for president, Ben Borja. Many of you already know Ben and his family, and I firmly believe he will be a great addition to the long, successful line of presidents of CrimsonAti.
I would highly encourage everyone to attend our chapter meeting next week (4/8/25 at March First Brewing or online). We will have a long list of topics up for vote including new bylaws, changes to membership dues, and a decision on total donation from the general fund to scholarship endowments for this fiscal year. If you are interested in serving with CrimsonAti I also encourage you to attend. As you may know, we have a lot of events coming up in 2025-2026 and while this may be a slower time right now, preparation for the upcoming events already started in January.
The last thing you can expect with my name on it will be a full year end report on every aspect of the chapter for 2024-2025. I hope this document will serve as a detailed summary on all the work CrimsonAti did and for the added transparency it will provide to continue. Look forward to this document by the end of April.
I'm proud of the work CrimsonAti has accomplished in the previous two years, and especially happy with our current state of the chapter. Of course this is all thanks to you! Your generosity and support of our local chapter allows us to meet our mission:
The raising of funds to be used in the establishment and the continuation of University of Alabama student scholarships
Serving the community through various charity events, fund-raising, and volunteer work
Fostering of the spirit of fraternity among graduates and friends of the University of Alabama
Just like Nick Saban said, "This is not the end. This is the beginning." And this is a bright new beginning for CrimsonAti.
Sincerely,
Eddie Bogdanowicz, Ph.D.
